Export the Client Manager Content

The filters available in the Client Manager allow you to extract information from any cell in the forms which is then displayed in the Client Manager.

Personal Taxprep does not allow you to retain the content of this extraction permanently. If you want to retain the content of the table, you will have to export it to a .csv or .xls format file.

How to export the content of the Client Manager

1. Display the Client Manager.
   To display the information on the clients you want to export, use one of the filters or modify the folders from which the search for client files must be performed.
2. On the File menu, click Export Client Manager.
3. Enter the name of the exported file, then click the file type (.csv or .xls).
   If required, select another folder to save the exported file to a folder other than the one defined in the options and settings.
4. Click Save.

The exported file contains the information displayed in the Client Manager; the first line contains the names of the column headers and the other lines contain the information specific to each client file or return.
